The Starlight Small-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone from Aston Microphones is a laser-targeting pencil microphone. It can be used to capture audio, allows for recall of mic positions in the studio, and enables quick setup in live-sound applications.
The Class-2 laser is designed with an on/off switch so that mic positions can be easily replicated on drums and other instruments, making setup a breeze. The Starlight features Aston’s variable voice-switching technologies for sound-contouring, and the microphone is built tough with a sintered, metal head, and a tumbled 100% stainless steel chassis. It is powered by 48V phantom power and uses a 20mm cardioid capsule.
