The Sony HDVF-EL30 0.7″ Full HD Color OLED Viewfinder is designed to offer exceptional performance and flexibility for professional camera operators. It is compatible with a wide range of Sony cameras, including the HDC-4300, HDC-2500 series, and more. Featuring OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display technology, the HDVF-EL30 delivers brilliant contrast and a wide dynamic range, making it ideal for a variety of shooting conditions. The quick pixel response of the OLED display enables smooth tracking and focusing on moving objects, reducing blurring and ghosting.

One of the standout features of the HDVF-EL30 is its specially developed optical loupe, which provides a high eye-point. This allows operators to view a wider area of the picture even when standing back from the eyepiece, offering enhanced viewing comfort during long shoots. The OLED panel can display pure blacks and vibrant colors across the entire spectrum, ensuring accurate color reproduction in any lighting condition.

In addition to the OLED display, the viewfinder includes a 3.5″ qHD (960 x 540) sub-LCD panel. This panel allows for direct monitoring over a longer distance, providing full operational flexibility. While the camera operator uses the OLED display for precise focus, a camera assistant can monitor the sub-LCD panel. A tally indicator and camera number can also be displayed on the sub-LCD panel for easier crew coordination.

The HDVF-EL30 also includes focus assist functions, such as Peaking, Peaking Plus, and Image Magnification, to aid in accurate focusing. The viewfinder is equipped with multiple assignable switches for easy access to frequently used functions and three tally lamps (red, green, yellow) for clear communication with the crew.
